Scope: manufacturing, quality control, supply and transportation of ready-mix concrete, precast concrete products and related construction materials through concrete batching plant operations — including procurement, production, testing, logistics, maintenance, environmental management and occupational health & safety management.

01

Production Capacity & Facilities

  • 7 static ready-mix plants
  • 5 mobile site-based plants
  • 17 computerised batch plant sites in total
  • Eastern, Central and Western Province coverage
  • Dedicated transit mixer and concrete pump fleets
  • Capacity in excess of 1,000,000 m³ per year

Our production network combines static ready-mix plants with mobile plants erected on site-based projects, giving a total of seventeen computerised batch plant sites across the Kingdom.

In recent years we have erected several batch plants directly on major projects that required site-based operations capable of supplying large quantities of concrete against high performance criteria. Where a project's volume, programme or specification justifies it, we bring the plant to you.

02

Quality Assurance & Quality Control

  • ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system
  • Third-party surveillance audits; client audits welcomed
  • BSc-qualified QC engineer at every production facility
  • Statistical monitoring of concrete strengths
  • CUSUM compliance tracking
  • Conformance to ASTM, BS, DIN and SASO

We are committed to meeting prevailing local and international standards while maintaining the quality of our products and services in accordance with our ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system.

Quality assurance is maintained by our QA engineers with qualified in-house auditors, and the system is subject to scheduled surveillance audits by our certification body. Quality control is monitored by qualified engineers supported by a team of concrete technicians. We welcome client and consultant audits of our plants and laboratories at any time.

Research and development anticipates future customer demands, evaluating alternatives including recycled and supplementary cementitious materials.

03

Laboratory Facilities

  • Fully equipped independent laboratory at each plant
  • BSc-qualified QC engineer and senior QC technician
  • Temperature-controlled curing tanks
  • Calibrated computer-controlled compression machine
  • Statistical tracking of 7- and 28-day strengths
  • Central laboratory for R&D and specialist testing

All Lone facilities have an on-site laboratory capable of performing standard tests on incoming raw materials, fresh concrete, field concrete and compressive strength.

Compressive strength cylinders are stored in temperature-controlled water tanks and tested using a calibrated, computer-controlled compressive strength machine. Records are maintained for raw material testing, plant and equipment calibrations, and fresh and hardened concrete tests.

Plant laboratories have access to our central laboratory for research and development projects and for any testing beyond routine plant scope.

04

Calibration

  • Scheduled third-party calibration of all batching scales
  • Moisture probe and water meter verification
  • Admixture dispenser accuracy checks
  • Laboratory equipment calibration records retained
  • Certificates available for audit on request

A batch plant is only as accurate as its last calibration. Weighing systems, moisture probes, admixture dispensers, water meters and laboratory test equipment are calibrated on a documented schedule by accredited third parties.

Calibration certificates are retained and available for client and consultant audit at any time.

05

Mix Design

  • Trial mixes before supply, every time
  • ACI, ASTM, BS and DIN compliant designs
  • Special designs for underwater, mass and slip-formed concrete
  • Testing every 100 m³: slump, temperature, air, density
  • Compressive strength cylinders at 7 and 28 days
  • CUSUM tracking of strength, deviation and cement margin

Mix designs are established using existing performance data to meet each new requirement. Trial mixes are then carried out to establish performance and to confirm compliance with the customer's specification before any supply begins.

Designs comply with the governing specification and any necessary international standard such as ACI, ASTM, BS or DIN. We hold mix designs meeting the requirements of major Kingdom clients, and we have developed special mix designs for use in unique environments such as underwater construction, mass concrete and slip-formed structures.

For every 100 cubic metres produced we conduct slump, temperature, air content and density evaluations, plus compressive strength cylinder testing. A CUSUM programme continuously tracks average 7- and 28-day strength, standard deviation and cement safety margin over the minimum strength requirement.

06

Technical Department

  • Mix design development and submittal support
  • Attendance at trial mixes and critical first pours
  • Assigned technical engineer on complex placements
  • Root-cause investigation of any non-conformance
  • Client and consultant technical liaison

Our technical department sits between the client's specification and the batch plant. It develops and approves mix designs, supports consultants through submittal and approval, attends trial mixes and first pours, and investigates any non-conformance to root cause.

For complex placements — deep piles, marine works, slip forms, mass pours — a technical engineer is assigned to the project from enquiry through to completion.

07

Health & Safety

  • Goal: zero accidents
  • Documented risk assessment and task training
  • Certified occupational health & safety management system
  • Continuous toolbox-talk training
  • Emergency and spill response programmes
  • Controlled use of hazardous materials, substitution where possible

Our goal is zero accidents. We are committed to preventing accidents and cases of work-related ill health, and to providing a pollution-free work environment.

We provide risk assessments, task training and best working practice, along with ongoing training to ensure employees are part of the health and safety process. We maintain a safe and healthy workplace by maintaining plant and equipment and ensuring safe storage of materials.

Our occupational health & safety management system is independently certified. Policies are professionally managed and written to meet the site requirements of major industrial clients, through guidance manuals, directives and continuous toolbox-talk training. We maintain appropriate emergency and spill response programmes and implement evacuation procedures for fire and other significant incidents.

08

Sustainability

  • ISO 14001:2015 certified environmental management system
  • Efficient use of water, electricity and raw materials
  • Evaluation of recycled and supplementary cementitious materials
  • Locally produced and locally used — low transport impact
  • Thermal mass reducing operational energy demand
  • Returned-concrete and washout water management
  • Environmental awareness training for all employees

Concrete is the most utilised man-made building material in the world, and its sustainability credentials are stronger than its reputation suggests: strength and durability, low maintenance, fire resistance, local production and use, and low life-cycle carbon dioxide emissions.

During the life of a concrete building, around 80% of carbon dioxide emissions are generated not by the production of the materials used in its construction, but by electric utilities such as lighting, heating and air-conditioning. The efficient thermal performance of a concrete-intensive building reduces energy demand, making the structure more economical to heat and cool and delivering significant greenhouse gas reduction.

Concrete is also an inert material, creating a healthy, low-allergenic indoor environment. A well-designed concrete structure achieves sustainability by balancing the social, environmental and economic dimensions of the project.

09

Certifications & Compliance

  • ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system
  • ISO 14001:2015 certified environmental management system
  • Certified occupational health & safety management system
  • Mix designs conform to ACI, ASTM, BS, DIN and SASO
  • Trial mixes and submittals approved before supply
  • Third-party calibration certificates retained
  • Saudi local content, aligned with Vision 2030
  • Client and consultant plant audits welcomed

We hold certified quality, environmental and occupational health & safety management systems, and we publish the certificates in full rather than just the logos — every number can be checked with the certifier.

Beyond certification, we design and supply to the standards our clients specify. Mix designs are submitted for consultant approval before supply, calibration and test certificates are retained for every plant, and we support client and consultant audits of our facilities and laboratories at any time.
